While these stars often steal the show, two players who excel at doing the unsung work for their teams have caught my attention for today’s props.

Photo By – Imagn Images. Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (34) drives to the basket against the Golden State Warriors during the first quarter at Chase Center.

The matchup between Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs and Anthony Edwards’ Minnesota Timberwolves is sure to draw attention, but my focus is on three player props that offer great value. Check out my top picks for January 11.

Top 3 NBA Player Props

The following table highlights my top 3 NBA player props for today’s games:

Player

Pick

Bam Adebayo

Over 11.5 rebounds+assists

-115

Dillon Brooks

Over 3.5 rebounds

-115

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Over 29.5 points

-115

Prop #1: Bam Adebayo Over 11.5 Rebounds+Assists

-115 at bet365

Bam Adebayo has been an integral figure for the Miami Heat, averaging 16.8 points per game despite it being his lowest mark since the 2019-20 season. I’m jumping on this combo Over tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder, with Adebayo going past this number in six of his last seven games.

Adebayo’s work on the glass will be the driver for this prop, and he’s finished with at least nine boards in 10 of his last 11 outings. He also plays a key role as a connector in this offense, dishing three or more dimes in five of his last seven contests.

Time: 7:00 p.m. ET

Where to watch: FDSN-SU, FDSN-OK

Prop #2: Dillon Brooks Over 3.5 Rebounds

-115 at bet365

Dillon Brooks is surpassing all expectations in his first season with the Phoenix Suns, and I’m expecting another impactful outing against the Washington Wizards. Brooks has grabbed at least four boards in four straight contests and ended up with seven rebounds in Friday’s victory over the New York Knicks.

There’s a solid floor for this pick, too, as Brooks has hauled in fewer than three rebounds in just one of his past nine games. Washington was outrebounded 51-40 last time out against the New Orleans Pelicans, making this prop offer great value for Brooks to continue his strong work on the glass.

Time: 8:00 p.m. ET

Where to watch: KTPV, KPHE

Prop #3: Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 29.5 Points

-115 at bet365

Giannis Antetokounmpo has led the Bucks to a 6-2 record in their last eight games, and while his defensive plays against LeBron James caught the eye on Friday, I’m zoned in on his scoring tonight against a Denver Nuggets team missing Nikola Jokic. The paint should be wide open for Antetokounmpo, and he’s scored 30+ points in four of his past five games.

Giannis is shooting a whopping 65% from the field this season and seems to be back in peak rhythm after his injury layoff. As usual, he should be able to pad his point total with trips to the free-throw line, and it’s a big ask for Aaron Gordon to handle this assignment.

Time: 8:00 p.m. ET

Where to watch: FDSN-WI, ALT

Smart Tip for Readers

When evaluating NBA player props, consider factors like team matchups, player trends, and injuries to opposing teams, as these can significantly impact a player’s performance and provide an edge in making informed betting decisions.
